달웅 도너츠 대표와의 인연은 2014년도 부터 시작되었다. 골목길에 차량을 세워두고 도너츠를 만들어 팔며, 찾아 오는 손님들에게 유쾌하고 친절하게 대했고 인심 또한 후했다.

차량으로 구미시의 곳곳을 돌며 도너츠를 만들어 팔아온 달웅 도너츠 대표가 구미시 비산동에 위치한 비산종합시장에 자리를 잡았다. 

달웅 도너츠 대표는 처음에는 제빵업을 시작으로 이후로 30년간 도너츠 만들어 왔다고 한다. 이젠 쉬고 여행을 즐기며 여유롭게 살고 싶었다던 달웅 도너츠 대표가 가게를 얻어 다시 장사를 시작하게 된 이유는 아들을 위해서다.

아들을 장가 보내고 도움을 주기 위해 자신의 안락함을 뒤로 한채 다시 일선에 나선 달웅 도너츠 대표는 언제나 긍정적인 모습을 보이고 밝은 표정이다.
