Bread is one of the foods that developed together as mankind developed civilization, and it is one of the very old foods in history.

The history of bread began as part of human plant processing technology. As wheat became agricultural, bread using flour appeared, and bread using various grains was made afterwards.

Bread using flour was produced during the Egyptian civilization, and bread began to be made in Greece, Rome, and China.

In the Middle Ages, commercial bread production began, resulting in the development of various types and flavors of bread. In particular, bread has become one of the iconic foods in France since the 16th century, and many famous French breads are still produced.

In modern times, bread production and sales have a long history and are related to various cultures and traditional elements. In addition, various new types of bread have recently emerged, such as health-conscious bread and bread as an alternative food.

The history of bread in our country is relatively short. Bread was first introduced in Korea after Japanese colonial era, when the Japanese introduced bread. Since the 1950s, bread has become popular as a standing food for the U.S. military, and the bread culture has been established.

And since the 1960s, industrialized bread produced in large manufacturing plants has emerged, and since the 1970s, the consumption of healthy bread has increased. Since the 1990s, various types of bread have been released and are widely consumed.

In particular, many traditional breads reflecting various regional characteristics are also produced in Korea. In addition, recently, a variety of breads have been released to meet the needs of health-conscious consumers, such as health-conscious bread and organic bread.

There are many ways to make bread delicious. But in general, you have to follow the basic principles to make delicious bread.

The first is the selection of flour, the most important ingredient of bread. Flour has a great influence on the texture and quality of bread because the strength of wheat flour depends on the protein content. Also, the taste and flavor of bread vary depending on the type of flour. Therefore, it is very important to choose the right flour.

Next, does the method of baking also have a big impact on the taste? For example, the baking time and temperature, humidity inside the oven, and the size and shape of the dough affect the taste and texture of the bread. Therefore, proper bending should be implemented by adjusting the baking method.

The ratio of ingredients is also important when making bread. Adding more sugar to increase the sweetness of bread is not a good way. Rather, it is better to keep the taste balanced by adjusting the ratio of flour, butter, eggs, and milk.

In addition, dough and aging process are also important to enhance the taste of bread. For example, the time required for dough, the shape, size, and temperature and humidity during fermentation have a great influence on the taste and texture of bread.

The toppings and cooking methods of bread also affect the taste. If bread is baked with pancake powder, it can increase the crispy texture, and if it is baked with butter on the outside of the bread, it can increase the soft texture.
