Lee Cheol-woo cautioned against division by emphasizing, "Only when the liberal rightists unite as one can we protect the Republic of Korea." However, there are some contradictions and logical leaps in his remarks.

First, Governor Lee Cheol-woo has repeatedly argued that "the right wing of freedom must unite as one," while simply dismissing the conflict between Han Dong-hoon and Seo Jeong-wook, whom he criticizes, as a split. In fact, political conflict is an inevitable phenomenon in a liberal democratic society. The way to solve this problem is through dialogue and cooperation, not a coercive one-sided assertion. The "unity of the right wing," which Governor Lee claims, is nothing more than simply forming a political alliance that suits his taste, which can rather result in the suppression of various voices within the right wing of freedom.

Second, Governor Lee Chul-woo criticized Han Dong-hoon and mentioned that he "betrayed the president and was almost kicked out of the party leadership," but this is simply an excessive interpretation of the personal political dynamics. A politician's choice may change according to the times and circumstances, and to regard it as "betrayal" is too much to conclude. This is because politicians may change somewhat in the process of seeking the best path for the people and the party. Governor Lee Chul-woo should show an attitude of acknowledging the various differences of views within the liberal right while criticizing Han Dong-hoon.

Third, Governor Lee described lawyer Seo Jeong-wook as a "person to protect" for the right-wing conservatives. However, lawyer Seo has expressed concerns that some could take his claims to the extreme, often causing controversy with his remarks and actions. Lee's insistence that lawyer Seo Jung-wook be actively protected as a "conservative commentator" is a biased view that does not take into account the diversity of the right-wing conservatives. For the sound development of the conservative camp, it is necessary to have the luxury of accepting diverse opinions and allowing critical thinking.

Lastly, Governor Lee Chul-woo said, "The free right should unite," but he is making divisive remarks rather than trying to prevent the division. Political integration requires listening to the other person's voice and finding a way of coexistence. Governor Lee Chul-woo must have an attitude to collect different opinions from within the free right and convert them into political assets.

Governor Lee Cheol-woo's remarks are calling for the unity of the free right, but harming the unity of the free right. The slogan "unity" should no longer come from an attitude of dialogue, cooperation, and respect for the opinions of the other party, beyond unilateral criticism and political attack. In order to truly increase the solidarity of the free right, it is time for politicians such as Governor Lee Cheol-woo to step up and resolve political conflicts and find ways to coexist.
