대부분의 피해자들이 잘 짜여진 각본의 유튜브 영상에 속아 판단력이 흐려진 점을 이용해 투자를 유도한 것이다.

코로나19 이후로 유튜브를 이용한 투자 사기가 많이 발생하여 사회적인 문제로 대두되고 있어 투자자들의 각별한 주의가 필요하다.

한편, 지난  4월 2일부터  머니스탠딩: 경제를 말하다 유튜브 영상에서는 해외자산운용 및 설계부서담당자 김민혁이라고 소개하며 희토류 투자를 유도하고 있다.

유튜브 내용에 따르면 희토류는 시장 전반에 발전중인 2차전지, 배터리, 풍력 발전 등과 같은 친환경 에너지 사업에 필수 요소로 분류된다고 소개하고 있다.

유튜브 영상속 인물은 희토류가 광물이어서 매장량이 한정되어 있는 만큼, 수요와 공급에 있어서 격차가 벌어지는 만큼, 가격도 꾸준히 오를 수 밖에 없는 구조라고 강조하면서,

딕업컴퍼니를 통해 중국에 위치한 희토류 채굴기업에 직접 투자가 가능해진 만큼 인기도 꾸준히 오르고 있다고 소개했다.

더불어 투자가가 중국 채굴기업에 투자를 함으로써 분배받을 수 있는 투자수익은 초기 투자금, 1,000만원 정도라고 가정을 했을 떄 하루 평균 수익률이 0.8%에서 1.0%정도라고 알렸다.

1,000만원을 투자했을 때 매달 250만원에서 300만원이 들어오는 수익구조라고 알리고 있는 유튜브 영상은 중국에 위치한 채국기업지분에 따른 수익률을 분배받는 구조이기 때문에 채굴의 처리과정도 고민할 필요가 없다고 알리고 있다고 했다.

머니스탠딩 유튜브 영상의 인물은 딕업컴퍼니 홈페이지를 통해 회원가입 방법을 설명 후 투자를 유도하고 있다.

솔라개발의 투자유도 수법과 전체적으로 유사한 패턴이므로,  상당한 주의가 요구된다.
