거위가 가족들을 보호하기 위해 지나가는 사람들에게 다가와 경고의 소리를 내지른다.

훨씬 몸집이 큰 사람들에게 두려움없이 자신들의 상황을 알리는 대장 거위의 모습은 의연하기만 하다.

몸을 바쳐 적극적으로 사람들과의 적극적인 소통에 나서려고 하는 거위를 통해 인간과 동물의 삶 또한 별반 차이가 없음을 느끼게 해준다.

자연속의 인간과 동물은 생명의 존엄함이라는 가치 아래 모두가 하나로 연결되어 있다.

연결의 법칙은 다양한 동양 철학과 종교, 특히 불교와 도교에 뿌리를 둔 개념이다. 우주의 모든 존재와 사건들이 관계와 상호작용의 거미줄에 의해 상호 연결되고 결합된다는 생각을 중심으로 진행된다.
