Starting from this, the area of Taejang Village is expected to flourish further as a cultural village with art.

In addition, Kim Jong-hee Art Museum was built in Taejang-ri Village last year.

Artists settle here because they have a good geographical environment to get inspiration for art.

Seohu-myeon, which has a world-class Bongjeongsa Temple, also has Geumgye Village, known as a thousand-year-old invincible site.

Geumgye Village is the "Millennium Invincible Land" introduced in Lee Joong-hwan's "Taekjiji," where the old Gyeongdang and Hakbong Jongtaek are located.

A thousand-year-old undefeated land means "a land that thrives without losing for a thousand years," meaning that there are no three disasters such as war, famine, and infectious diseases.

The value of a good site has not changed over many years, and those who attract people and have a good place are blessed by their descendants.

사진 설명: 안동시 서후면 태장리 봉정사 삼거리에 위치한 갤러리 나모, 2021년 11월 1일부터 2주동안 제1회 「서후예찬」 축제가 열렸다.

세계문화유산인 봉정사로 향하는 안동시 서후면 태장리 마을 길목에 지난 8월에 갤러리 나모가 들어섰다.

30여 평의 비교적 작은 전시실이지만 어느 누구나 장르에 상관없이 전시할 수 있도록 구성되어 있다.

갤러리가 들어서기 전 봉정사로 향하는 길목은 그 명성에 비해 초라하기가 이를데 없었다.

이젠 옆의 카페와 함께 봉정사를 찾는 많은 이들을 위한 휴식과 문화공간으로 자리잡아가고 있어 실로 명당의 입지를 잘 갖추고 있다.

앞으로 이를 기점으로 태장마을 일대는 예술을 품은 문화마을로 더욱 번성할 것으로 기대된다.

이외에도 태장리 마을에는 김종희 미술관이 지난해 들어서 있다.

미술인들이 이곳에 정착하는 까닭은 예술에 대한 영감을 얻기에 좋은 지리적 환경을 갖고 있기 때문이다.

세계적인 봉정사를 품고 있는 서후면은 천년불패지지로 알려진 금계마을도 있다.

금계마을은 이중환의 '택리지'에 소개된 '천년불패지지(千年不敗之地)'로 옛 경당종택과 학봉종택이 자리잡고 있다.

천년불패지지란 '천년 동안 패하지 않고 번성하는 땅' 이란 뜻으로 전쟁과 기근과 전염병 등 삼재가 없다는 의미다.

좋은 터는 오랜세월이 지나도록 그 가치가 변함이 없고 사람을 끌어당기며 명당을 가진 이들은 자손에게 복이 들어온다.
