구미성리학역사관 봉사자들의 독거노인 어르신 후원회 결성이 계기가 된 이후 온정의 손길이 이어졌다.

일엽편주 고립무원과도 같이 넓은 망망대해 위에 떠있는 조각배에 홀로 남겨져, 목숨이 위태롭게 간당간당한 상황에서 구원의 손길을  받는다는 것은 새생명을 얻는 것과도 마찬가지이다.

인의예지신의 본 고장인 이곳 구미성리학역사관에서 작은 관심과 배려가 불씨가 되어 더욱 따뜻한 사랑의 불꽃으로 거듭났다.

도움을 받는 이와 도움을 주는 이들 또한 서로에게 삶이란  함께 살아가는 인연의 연속이라는 사실을 깨닫게 만든다.

성리학은 이기의 개념을 중심으로 우주와 인간의 생성과 구조를 해명하여 사회에서의 인간의 참된 도리에 관하여 깊이 사색함으로써 우주와 인간, 보편과 특수를 일관하는 방대하고 심오한 학문 체계를 구축하였으며 크게는 이기론과 심성론으로 설명된다.

먹을 갈고 글을 쓰며, 갓쓰고 헛기침을 한다고 모두 선비가 아니다. 지난한 삶을 통해 깨달은 바를 의롭게 실천하는 이가 될 때 진정한 사람이다.
