문화는 사회를 정의하고 그 구성원들의 일상과 가치를 형성하는 중요한 요소다. 우리가 일상에서 자연스럽게 받아들이는 많은 문화적 관습들은 오랜 시간 동안 수많은 사람들의 열정과 노력이 쌓여 형성된 결과물이다. 새로운 문화가 정착되기까지는 단순히 시간이 지나가는 것만으로 이루어지지 않는다. 그것을 위해 애쓰고 헌신하는 사람들의 노력이 반드시 필요하다. 그리고 그 결과는 매우 값지다.
