The uninteresting and old-fashioned export tower has turned into a great sculpture that emits colorful lights at night with someone's idea.
Leaving it as a value for existence means that you will be complacent with the past and reality, but adding a little change means taking the first step of the challenge for the future and evolution.
The same is true of people. The future moves when even ordinary people who have not been noticed show better thoughts and actions than the present. The act of always learning, exploring, and creating is the most necessary element in the 21st century, when high-tech science and technology civilization reaches its peak.

사진 설명: 구미시 광평동에 위치한 수출탑, 구미공단이 건설되고 1976년 9월 대한민국이 수출 100억 달러를 달성한 기념으로 나라에서 건립한 탑이다. 당시 우리나라 산업발전의 느낌을 되새길 수 있다.
진화란 일이나 사물 따위가 점점 발달하여 가거나 지구상의 생물들이 생명의 기원 이후부터 살아가면서 환경에 적응하고 점진적으로 변해 가거나 발전해 가는 과정을 의미한다.
산업도시 구미국가산업단지도 진화해 가고 있다.
관심을 끌지 않고 오래된 볼품없던 수출탑이 누군가의 아이디어로 밤이면 오색찬연한 빛을 뿜는 훌륭한 조형물로 변했다.
존재 가치로서 그대로 두는 것은 과거와 현실에 안주하겠다는 것이지만 조금의 변화를 가미하는 것은 미래를 위한 도전의 첫발을 떼는 것이자 진화를 의미한다.
사람 역시 마찬가지다. 주목받지 못했던 평범했던 인물도 현재보다 나은 생각과 행동을 보일 때 미래는 움직이게 된다. 늘 배우고 탐구하고 창조하는 행위는 첨단과학기술문명이 정점에 달한 21세기에 가장 필요한 요소다.
