According to Kwangus, the Sanskrit word "Mahabanbaramilda Simgyeong" was shortened to "Banya Simgyeong."

Maha means 'big', Banya means 'wisdom', and Bamiulda means 'reach' or 'completion." Planting means the core and Sir means the word of Buddha.

In other words, it means that the Banya Simgyeong is a scripture that is the core of completing great wisdom.

It is said that it is the shortest and most important of the Buddha's scriptures. It is said to be that difficult.

It is said that it is good to hear the anti-night view. Even if you don't know what it means, it's effective just by listening and memorizing it.

Kwangus said, "But wouldn't it be more effective to know and memorize?"

There are times when good things happen and times when bad things happen in life. Read the anti-night mentality when you are in distress or distraction.

Cantonese gave an example of a Confucianism about an anecdote related to the half-night spirit.

The existential model of the Three Chapters of the Western Yu-gi is the field monk of the Tang Dynasty. Seo Yu-gi painted a long process in which a field monk went to Cheonchuk (India) and brought the Buddhist scriptures.

King Taejong of the Tang Dynasty praised the field monk as "the treasure of our country" and cherished it very much.

The monk was always thirsty. The translated scriptures of the Buddha were not smooth and there were many questions that kept coming to mind.

The monk went to India and tried to translate it anew.

The emperor objected. This is because I thought it could be dangerous while going on a rough and rough road.

The field monk, who wanted to study so much, fled the country without following the emperor's will. When the monk heard a temple on the border, he moaned, "Aigo" and "Aigo," so I looked for a sick Northman.

"In Buddhism, you can be happy only if you give blessings. The biggest blessing in the summer is nursing clothes. It is to help the sick and dying. If you take care of him with a heart of service, not with money, you will be blessed."

With the careful care of the monk Hyun-ji, the old man recovered. When the monk Hyun-ji tried to leave, the North gave him a scripture and told him to read it when he was in trouble.

The smart monk Hyun-jae memorized it all at once.

A monk who stopped by a village was caught by people and was in a position to dedicate his life as a human sacrifice at a village ritual to pray for a good harvest.

It was regrettable that the monk Hyun-jae, who had no regrets about dying, could not deliver the scriptures to the people of his home country before he died and could not complete his power.

However, I remembered a scripture to memorize when there was an emergency. The sandstorm swept over the village in an instant. The villagers were surprised and immediately released the monk.

The monk Hyun-ji crossed the desert and memorized the scriptures whenever there was a dangerous incident. He arrived safely, studied scripture at Naranta University for 20 years, and returned to Tang.

The scene that the North taught me is half-nightly.

Legend has it that when the monk Hyun-ji returned to Tang Dynasty, he visited the temple to find the North, but the large temple disappeared without a trace.

When I asked the villagers, they said there was no temple. I realized that he was the Buddhist monk Guanyin.

Guanyin Bodhisattva was a test of the power and mercy of the monk Hyun-ji, and in return, it provided a half-night spirit.

광우스님에 따르면 산스크리스트어인 '마하반야바라밀다심경'을 줄여서 반야심경이라했다.

마하는 '크다'라는 뜻이며 반야는 '지혜'를, 바라밀다는 '도달하다' 또는 '완성하다'라는 뜻이다. 심은 핵심을 의미하고 경은 부처님 말씀이다.

즉, 반야심경은 큰 지혜를 완성하는 핵심이 되는 경전이라는 뜻이다.

부처님의 경전 중 가장 짧은면서도 가장 핵심이 되는 것을 함축시켜놓은 것이라고 했다. 그만큼 어렵다고 한다.

반야심경은 듣기만해도 좋다고 한다. 무슨 뜻인지 몰라도 듣기만하고 외우기만 해도 효험이 있다고 했다.

광우스님께선 "하지만 알고 외우면 더욱 효험이 있지 않겠는가?"라고 했다.

살다보면 좋은 일 생길 때도 있고 나쁜 일이 생길 때도 있다. 괴롭거나 심란한 일이 있을 때 반야심경을 읽어보라.

광우스님은 반야심경에 얽힌 일화에 대해 서유기 예를 들었다.

서유기 삼장법사의 실존 모델은 당나라의 현장법사이다. 서유기는 현장법사가 천축(인도)으로 가서 부처님 경전을 가져오는 기나긴 과정을 그렸다.

당나라 태종은 현장법사를 '우리나라의 보배'라고 격찬하며 몹시 아꼈다.

현장스님은 항상 갈증이 있었다. 부처님의 번역된 경전들이 매끄럽지 못하고 자꾸만 의문나는 점들이 많았다.

현장스님은 인도로 가서 새로 번역하려고 시도했다.

황제는 반대했다. 험악하고 험란한 길을 가다가 위험할 수 있다고 생각했기 때문이다.

너무나 공부하고 싶었던 현장법사는 황제의 뜻을 따르지 않고 도망치듯 나라를 빠져 나갔다. 현장스님이 국경지대 어느 패사찰을 들리게 되어 '아이고' '아이고'하는 신음소리가 나서 찾아보니 병든 노스님이 있었다.

광우스님은 "불교에서는 복을 줘야 행복해질 수 있다. 복중에 가장 큰 복은 간병복이다. 병들어 죽어가는 사람을 도와주는 것이다. 돈받고 하는 것이 아닌 봉사하는 마음으로 간병을 해주면 복이 돌아온다."고 했다.

현장스님의 극진한 간병으로 노스님은 회복됐다. 현장스님이 떠나려하자 노스님은 경전을 주며 위기에 처해 괴로울 때 읽으라 했다.

머리가 똑똑한 현장스님은 일시에 다 외웠다.

한 마을에 들른 현장스님은 사람들에게 잡혀 풍년을 기원하는 마을제사에 산목숨을 인신제물로 바쳐질 처지가 되었다.

죽는 것은 여한이 없었던 현장스님은 죽기 전에 고국의 사람들에게 경전을 전하지 못하고 자신의 원력을 완수하지 못한 것이 안타까웠다.

하지만 위급한 일이 있을 때 외우라던 경전이 떠올랐다. 모래폭풍이 휘몰아 치며 순식간에 마을을 덮어 버렸다. 마을 사람들은 놀라서 현장스님을 즉시 풀어줬다.

현장스님은 사막을 건너며 위험한 일이 있을 때마다 경을 외웠다. 무사히 도착해 나란타 대학에서 20년간 경전을 공부한 뒤 당나라로 되돌아 왔다.

그 노스님이 가르쳐주신 경이 바로 반야심경이다.

전설에는 현장스님이 당나라 땅에 돌아갈 때 그 노스님을 찾아 절을 찾아갔으나 그 큰 절이 흔적도 없이 사라졌다.

마을 사람들에게 물어보니 절이 없었다고 한다. 그 분이 바로 관세음보살님이셨다는 것을 깨닫게 됐다.

관세음보살은 현장스님의 원력과 자비심을 시험해 본 것이었고 그 보답으로 반야심경을 선사했던 것이다.
