The work, Donghaeng with an umbrella, symbolically embodies mirrors and umbrellas as they practice the activities of Rotary Club, a volunteer group that protects the environment to preserve the Earth and loves its neighbors.

Looking at Geumosan Mountain, the birthplace of nature conservation and the source of the nature conservation movement, you can feel the generosity and freedom that nature brings.

At the Gumi Art Gallery under Geumji, a sculpture exhibition of herbivores modeled on bulls, rhinos, and horses by Lee Jung-seop, a global environment guardian who tries to prevent ecosystem destruction through his works, is being held successfully.

With the motif of herbivores' dynamics, artist Lee Jung-seop sublimated the invincible existence of herbivores into art using cotton and lines to exerting the strong and implicit power of herbivores.

금오산 금오지 아래에 위치한 이정섭 조각가의 작품은 자연을 품은 작품이다.

우산을 받쳐든 동행이라는 작품은 환경을 보호하여 지구를 보존하고 이웃을 사랑하는 봉사단체인 로타리클럽의 활동을 몸소 실천하는 모습을 모습을 거울과 우산을 상징적으로 형상화 했다는 의미가 담겨져 있다.

자연보호의 발상지이자 자연보호운동의 근원이 된 금오산을 금오지에서 바라보면 자연이 안겨다 주는 넉넉함과 자유로움을 느낄 수 있다.

금오지 아래 구미예갤러리에서는 작품을 통해 생태계 파괴를 막으려는 지구환경지킴이 이정섭 작가의 황소와 코뿔소와 말을 모델로한 초식동물 조각전이 성황리에 열리고 있다.

이정섭 작가는 초식동물의 역동성을 모티브로 면과 선을 이용하여 초식동물의 강인하고 함축적인 힘을 발휘하는 무소불위의 존재를 예술로 승화시켰다.
