Metabus is a combination of "meta," which means a virtual world, and "universe," which means a real world, and is used as a key keyword to realize a three-dimensional virtual world of the future Internet.

Currently, in each field of society, issues are being created with the goal of realizing daily lives that have been done in the real world, including business and industry, in the metaverse world.

However, even experts tend to chase rose-colored fantasies about the coming future when they are not able to clearly identify the definition of metaverse.

Metabus' outlook can be summarized into four scenarios: augmented reality, lifelogging, Mirror World, and virtual world.

Augmented reality makes it possible to interact by overlapping digitally implemented information and objects in real space, and lifelogging refers to a space where information and experiences that occur in daily life are recorded and shared, or data measured by sensors are accumulated digitally.

On the other hand, Mirrorworld, which enables interaction with the outside world, is a world that has been moved digitally by imitating the real world, and the virtual world is a space that simulates everything imaginable in a fully virtualized space digitally, making it immersed in the inside.

What they all have in common is that it is a world that cannot be seen with their eyes closed.

The concern is that even though living creatures are beings who have to live with nature, it seems undesirable to flounder in a virtual space and flow in a direction that makes part of life mortgageable.

Although it is said to follow the global trend, it should not forget the natural function of life excluding the providence of nature.

메타버스란 가상세계를 의미하는 '메타'와 현실세계를 의미하는 '유니버스'의 합성어로 미래 인터넷의 3차원 가상세계를 구현하는 핵심 키워드로 사용되고 있다.

현재 사회 각 분야에서는 메타버스 세계에서 비즈니스와 산업을 비롯해 현실세계에서 이뤄지던 일상을 구현하는데 목표를 두고 이슈를 만들어 가고 있다.

하지만 전문가들조차도 메타버스에 대한 정의를 명확히 짚어내지 못하고 있는 상황에서 다가올 미래에 대한 장미빛 환상을 쫓는 경향이 있다.

메타버스의 전망은 증강현실과 라이프로깅, 미러월드, 가상세계 등 4가지의 시나리오로 정리될 수 있다.

증강현실은 현실공간에서 디지털로 구현된 정보와 사물을 겹쳐 보이게 함으로써 상호작용할 수 있게 만든 것이며, 라이프로깅은 개인을 중심으로 일상에서 발생하는 정보와 경험을 기록하고 공유하거나 또는 센서가 측정해 낸 데이터가 디지털로 축적되어가는 공간을 의미한다.

한편으로 외부와의 상호작용을 가능케하는 미러월드는 사실적으로 현실세계를 모방하여 디지털로 옮긴 세계이며, 가상세계는 디지털로 구현된 완전히 가상화된 공간에서 상상하는 모든 것을 컴퓨터 그래픽으로 시뮬레이션하여 내적인 몰입을 하게 만든 공간이다.

이들 모두의 공통점은 눈을 감으면 볼 수 없는 세계라는 점이다.

우려되는 점은 살아있는 생명체란 자연과 함께 더불어 살아야 하는 존재임에도 불구하고 가상의 공간에서 허우적 되며 삶의 일부를 저당잡히게 만드는 방향으로 흘러가는 것은  바람직하지 않아 보인다. 

세계적인 추세를 쫓아간다고 하지만, 자연의 섭리를 배제한 생명체 본연의 기능을 망각해서는 안된다.
