흔히들 곱게 늙어간다고 말한다. 

곱게 늙어간다는 것은 신체적 외모와 태도 모두 긍정적이고 우아한 태도를 유지하는 방식으로 나이를 먹는 과정을 가리키는 말이다.

곱게 늙는다는 것은 자연스러운 노화 과정에 맞서 싸우려 하지 않고 나이를 먹는 것을 의미한다.

대신 곱게 늙기 위해 준비해야 할 것은 건강과 자신감과 긍정적인 삶을 유지하면서 나이와 함께 오는 변화를 포용해야 한다는 사실이다.

우아하게 나이를 먹고 존경을 받기 위해서는 균형 잡힌 생활 방식이 일상이 되어야 한다.
